New Mexico Concealed Carry
The Most Popular Course/ Concealed Carry Las Cruces
This course, upon completion will allow the student to apply for a New Mexico Concealed Carry License. This course is taught over a two day period and is 15 hours in duration.
The course complies fully with the required mandates of the State of New Mexico which include:

Knowledge and safe handling of handgun systems

Safe storage of handguns and child safety
-
Safe handgun shooting fundamentals
-
Live shooting
-
Development and maintenance of shooting skills
-
Law pertaining to use and possession of handguns
-
Avoidance and control of criminal attacks and violent confrontations

The techniques of nonviolent dispute resolution
This course also provides the latest cutting edge information on:

Use of Force
-
The reasonableness standard
-
Threat evaluation
-
Advanced shooting techniques
-
Psychological/physiological considerations
As an added bonus this course will cover handgun retention and disarming techniques, less lethal options; including impact tools and pepper sprays. Students will also observe and participate in scenarios that will develop their understanding of the dynamics of violent human confrontation.
Participants will be required to bring a serviceable pistol or revolver, a serviceable holster, 150 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection and suitable range/outdoor clothing.

Advanced Firearms
Defensive Handgun Course
Duration 8 hours
This course is designed for graduates of concealed carry or others who have completed similar training. The course will cover basic and advanced techniques including:

Close range and contact shooting

Multiple assailants

Retreat and disengagement

Unsighted firing

Effective stoppage avoidance and clearance

Advanced trigger manipulation

Shooting on the move
This course will require up to 400 rounds of ammunition, a strong-side holster, quality pistol or revolver, eye and ear protection.
